A Nigerian family residing in Texas went wild in jubilation as power was restored to their home shouting up NEPA days after power outage in the area.

Texas has been experiencing a severe winter storm which has caused widespread power outages to millions of homeowners in the state and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), which operates the state’s power grid made significant progress in restoring power to many homes while admitting that rotating outages may be needed over the next couple of days.

However, a group of Nigerians who were delighted over the restoration of power rejoiced the Nigerian way by shouting up NEPA.

Members of the group were seen in the video jumping with their hands raised up while hailing NEPA for the return of power.

NEPA is an acronym for the defunct National Electric Power Authority, which is associated with regular power outages.

Presently, citizens in Nigeria often shout up NEPA whenever electricity supply is restored.
