An undergraduate student of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree, identified as Wumi, has died after being reportedly used for money rituals by her boyfriend.
The boyfriend simply identified as Tabo, is said to be an internet fraudster aka Yahoo boy.

In the viral video, the deceased who was a National Diploma 1 student of the Department of Mass Communication can be seen lying on the floor, naked with bloodstains in an apartment.
According to reports, the Yahoo boyfriend had earlier bought her an iPhone 12 Pro Max worth over N700, 000 and gifted her N1M on her birthday.
In the video, young men assumed to be neighbours, were seen using heavy canes and sticks to beat the boyfriend after it was reported that he had used Wumi for a money ritual.
The spokesperson of the Polytechnic, Mr Tope Abiola, confirmed the death of the student, saying that the school authority was briefed about the death of the student and the police have taken over the matter for proper investigation.
Mr Abiola said the boy in question is not a student of the polytechnic. He urged the police to be thorough in their investigation.
