Wife drags co-wife to court for calling her adulterer in Kaduna

A housewife, Baraka Sulaiman, on Tuesday, dragged her co-wife, Nafisa Hussaini, and her sister-in-law, Maryam Sulaiman, before a Sharia Court in Kaduna for allegedly calling her an adulterer.

The complainant who resides in the Rigasa area of Kaduna State alleged that the two defendants called her names.

On their part, Hussaini and Sulaiman denied the allegation.

The Judge, Malam Salisu Abubakar-Tureta who asked the complainant to produce her witnesses gave the two defendants bail on the condition that they present a reliable surety.

Abubakar-Tureta adjourned the matter until August 23.
