22-year-old man arrested for demanding s3x from women he caught stealing pepper

A 22-year-old man in Osogbo has been arrested after allegedly attempting to rape two women he caught stealing pepper from a farm. The incident occurred in the Ita-Olokan area of the city.
According to a statement from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Public Relations Officer, Kehinde Adeleke, the man confronted the women, even though the farm was not his.
He allegedly threatened to hand them over to security personnel unless they had sex with him.

While one of the women was able to escape, the suspect reportedly held down the other, physically assaulted her, and tried to force himself on her.
The suspect, in his confession, claimed he “only laid on the victim and ejaculated quickly, fearing that the escaped woman might alert others.”

Igbalawole Sotiyo, the NSCDC Commandant in Osun State, reiterated the agency’s commitment to fighting crime and encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities immediately.
