Neptune Prime CEO, Dr Gimba, congratulates Gov. Buni on re-election victory

The CEO of Neptune Network Nigeria Limited, publishers of Neptune Prime and Neptune Hausa online newspapers, Dr Hassan Gimba, has congratulated Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State on his re-election for a second term in office.

Dr Gimba, who paid a congratulatory visit to the Governor-elect at Government House, Damaturu, said Buni’s victory is well-deserved and commended the people of Yobe for their confidence in the leadership of the governor.

He said the governor earned his re-election by demonstrating good governance for the progress of Yobe and the well-being of the people and has been on a relentless mission to take the state to greater heights.

Earlier on Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Yobe State Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Yobe.

Governor Buni won his re-election bid having polled a total of 371,113 votes to beat his closest rival, Sheriff Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 104,259 while Garba Umar of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) scored 14,246 votes.
