NYSC launches probe into controversial video of corps member’s punishment at PPA

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is currently investigating a viral video that depicts a corps member undergoing disciplinary action at her place of primary assignment.

The video, which has sparked outrage, shows the corps member being forced to kneel down by a school proprietress for undisclosed reasons.

This situation has raised concerns about the alleged mistreatment of corps members at their primary assignment locations in Nigeria.

In the video, the NYSC member, speaking in her native Yoruba dialect, mentioned experiencing symptoms related to menstruation.

However, the proprietress argued that if she had explained her situation, she would have understood, as she is also a woman.

The video has infuriated Nigerians, who claim that such instances of employers bullying corps members at their place of primary assignment (PPA) are unfortunately common.
