Emir of Fika appreciates Tumsah for generous support to windstorm victims

The Emir of Fika, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, has expressed gratitude to Kashim Musa Tumsah, MFR, for his generous donation of ₦2 million to assist victims of the recent devastating windstorm in Fika Local Government Area, Yobe State. The storm, which occurred last week, left over 351 houses damaged, with six residents injured.

A delegation led by Hassan Bomai Joda visited the Fika on Friday on behalf of Tumsah to present the donation and extend his sympathy to those affected by the disaster.

Thereafter, they paid homage to the Emir, offering prayers for the swift recovery of the injured and seeking divine protection against future calamities.

The Emir commended Tumsah for his timely intervention, emphasising the importance of community solidarity during challenging times.

He also called on the committee responsible for overseeing the distribution to victims to be fair and just in the distribution of the aid package, ensuring that all affected families receive the support they need.

Tumsah’s humanitarian efforts across Yobe State and beyond have been met with widespread acclaim from local leaders, who highlighted the crucial role of his assistance in helping families rebuild their lives after the storm.
