The first Northern Nigerian Professor of Education, Adamu Baikie, dies at 94

Adamu Baikie, the first Professor of Education in Northern Nigeria, has passed away at the age of 94.
Baikie was widely respected for his pioneering contributions to education in the region, playing a significant role in the development of teacher education, academic research, and educational policy over several decades. His work helped shape modern education systems across Northern Nigeria and beyond.
