President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Babagana Kingibe with a large entourage paid a condolence visit to the family of former Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters, late General Shehu Musa Yar’adua over the death of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Maryam (Erkawu).
According to a family source, she passed away after a brief illness at the 44 Hospital Kaduna, early hours of Thursday morning at the age of 96.
Her funeral was held on Friday, 9 October, 2020 at 10am at her residence in Kaduna State in accordance with Islamic rites.
Buhari prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort her family and loved ones.
Buhari urged the family to immortalize the matriarch by promoting her values, praying that Allah would grant her soul peaceful rest.
The third day prayers for late Maryam was observed today (Saturday) at her home town.
