Fire destroys Kano Polytechnic buildings

An intense fire has devastated a departmental building at the School of Technology, Kano State Polytechnic.

It was gathered that the fire quickly spread throughout the Arts and Industrial Department of the polytechnic early Tuesday morning.

The Kano State Fire Service Spokesperson, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, confirmed the incident.

However, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown.

Abdullahi mentioned that the extent of the damage incurred has not yet been determined as investigations are currently ongoing.

He assured that further updates will be provided as information becomes available.”
