Gov. Buni appoints acting Chief of Staff, SSG

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Baba Malam Wali as the acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua as the acting Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Governor.

This is contained in a statement signed by Gov. Buni’s media aide, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed.

According to the statement, the appointment of the two officers is with immediate effect.

Until the dissolution of the State Executive Council last month, the acting Secretary to the State Government and Chief of Staff, had both served in substantive capacities.
