Gov. Buni appoints more aides to boost job creation

In his quest to boost job creation and complement government’s effort in developing the state, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni had appointed more Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) to bolster the overall development of the state.

This was disclosed by Yusuf Ali, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) Digital & Strategic to Yobe Governor.

He said, “Governor Buni has been running a more democratic government and opens participation for people to contribute and complement government efforts toward development in the state.

“It is paramount for any political appointee to support the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni in an effort to better the living standard of people in the state.

“With the appointment of more SSAs and SAs, the administration of Governor Mai Mala Buni has further put in place measures that would assist more persons in the state.

“The state government has introduced many programmes for the betterment of people, which include creating jobs opportunities through empowerment and cash grants, educational support and appointments for the youth.

The government urged the youths to be good ambassadors and shun activities that are capable of tarnishing the reputation of the state.

“With Governor Buni’s penchant for youth inclusion in governance, as leaders of tomorrow, youths in the state have a lot to contribute towards the peace and development of the state,” Ali said.
