Gov. Buni unanimously endorsed as Chairman Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum
In a historic move, His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, has been unanimously endorsed as the new chairman of the Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum.
The Governor’s appointment, which will span the next two years, reflects the trust and confidence placed in his leadership by fellow governors of the basin region.

H.E Gov. Buni’s leadership is expected to drive collaborative efforts to address these issues and promote peace, stability, and sustainable development across the region.
