Insecurity: Family, friends mourn as terrorists kill young man on Abuja-Kaduna highway

As gun men continue to kidnap and kill travelers along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway, another young man, Aliyu M. Lawal, has fallen victim of the menace when he was shot and killed on the same road.
According to reports, Aliyu M. Lawal was on his way to Kaduna from Abuja for some business transactions, when gun men stopped him and after asking him some questions shot him, killing him on the spot.
He was buried in Anguwan Gero Zaria City on Saturday morning, the funeral prayer was attended by friends, relations, and business associates.
Aliyu M. Lawal was described by his neighbors as decent and God-fearing and as far as they were concerned he doesn’t engage himself in shady business.
Kaduna State is still witnessing kidnappings and armed banditry almost on daily basis, even though the governor and security agencies are doing all they could to be on top of the situation.
