Ireti Kingibe, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) senatorial election held on February 25, 2023, has emerged winner after scoring 202,175 votes across the five area councils where results were announced.

Philip Aduda, a three-time senator came second with 100,544 votes while Mr Angulu Dobi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came third with 78,905 votes.

The result was announced by the returning officer of the election, Sani Saka, in Abuja on Tuesday evening.
