The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, said that he is overwhelmed by Nigeria’s size and population.
Ruth described everything about Nigeria as “huge”, “big”, noting that Lagos alone has more people living there than the whole of the Netherlands.
He spoke in Abuja after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Dutch Prime Minister came to Nigeria on a two-day visit to review and strengthen bilateral relations and trade ties with Nigeria.
He spoke of his impression on Nigeria, “Nigeria is huge. It is an honour to be here in Nigeria.
“It’s my first visit to Nigeria and as I said at the lunch meeting, I am very impressed.
“Everything in this country is huge, is big. It’s 20 times the size of the Netherlands and more people live in Lagos than the whole of my country.”
