A motorist, Abatcha Abdurrazak said, ” The authorities in Abuja should be proactive to address the anomaly, because the faulty traffic lights are the cause of many accidents in the city.

“We have many impatient drivers who drive recklessly to cross from one junction to the other, which leads to accidents by fellow bad drivers.”

He called on the FCT Minister, Alhaji Muhammad Musa Bello, to address the department concerned because they are reluctant on their duty.

A pedestrian, Malam Daddau also called on the Federal Road Safety Commission, amongst others to address the issue of faulty traffic lights once and for all.
