Police arrest woman over alleged assault on maid

Lagos State Police have arrested a woman accused of burning the private parts of her domestic worker, in a shocking case of alleged domestic abuse.
The suspect, whose identity is being withheld pending investigation, reportedly subjected the maid to severe physical abuse, causing serious injuries. The incident came to light after the victim sought medical attention and reported the assault to local authorities.
Police confirmed that the suspect has been taken into custody and charged with criminal assault. The Lagos State Police Command stated that it is conducting a thorough investigation, and all necessary measures will be taken to ensure justice for the victim.
