Ramadan: Gov. Buni adjusts working hours for public servants

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved a special adjustment to official working hours in the public service to accommodate the Holy month of Ramadan.

The new schedule is as follows; Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 noon respectively.

The directive was conveyed in a circular signed by the Head of Service, Alhaji Tonga Betara Bularafa, for the information and compliance of all public servants.

The circular noted that the adjustment is effective for the duration of Ramadan only, with normal working hours resuming immediately after the fasting period.
