Reactions as Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan, reveals she’s 43% Nigerian after origin test

Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex has revealed that she is 43% Nigerian.

Speaking in her most recent podcast, Meghan addressed the stigma that black women face by revealing that she is “43% Nigerian according to a genealogy test she took.

The comedians Issa Rae and Ziwe joined Meghan Markle on the most recent episode of the Spotify podcast Archetypes to talk about the misconceptions that black women encounter on a daily basis in the entertainment industry.

The duchess discussed what the revelation meant to her and how she intends to learn more about her genealogy in an interview with Nigerian-American actress Ziwe for her podcast Archetypes.

Quoting what Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex said during her recent podcast with comedians Issa Rae and Ziwe, “I just had my genealogy done a couple of years ago,” Meghan explains, as her guests eagerly ask her to share the result.
