Star actor, Ali Nuhu, loses father

The death has been reported of former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State Nuhu Poloma.

Poloma, the father of popular Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu, died yesterday after a protracted illness. He was 79.

The deceased had worked with the Nigerian Customs Service. He was also a legislator under NPN in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, before the creation of Gombe State.

Popular Kannywood stars have been taking to their social media handles to sympathise with their colleague over the loss of his father.
