Gov. Ganduje applauds formation of Fulani group in Kano

Story from Shafaatu DAUDA, Kano

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has applauded the formation of a Fulani group ‘Coalition of Fulani Associations’, that will focus on protecting the core mandate of the Fulani people and bring about peace and unity in the state.

The Governor, in an effort to bring to an end cases of banditry that is highly linked to the ugly behaviour of some Fulani Herdsmen, asked the herders to come down to the state and take shelter in any of the grazing reserves situated in Kano.

Dr Ganduje, who also has the traditional Fulani way of life, made it compulsory for him to give back to his community for years before becoming the Governor of Kano State.
