The 7th year a media group marked its valentine’s day by spreading love, empathy, reaching out to the community

For the seventh consecutive year, Otos David Media Group marked Valentine’s season by spreading love, empathy, and compassion within the community.

As part of this year’s celebration, the organization hosted the 7th edition of its annual Valentine’s gathering on February 15, bringing together couples and widows for an inspiring event centered on unity, understanding, and heartfelt connection.

Addressing participants, the CEO/MD of Otos David Media Group, Mr. David Otobrise, underscored the importance of consistently practicing love and empathy in relationships.

He described Valentine’s Day as a reflection of God’s love for humanity, stressing that genuine love and mutual understanding remain the foundation of every successful marriage. He encouraged couples to make these values a daily culture in their homes.

The event also featured a special lecture by South African-born media personality, Ambassador Ayanda Yaya Ngwane, who expressed appreciation for being part of the initiative.

She emphasized the role of healthy communication in nurturing strong and lasting relationships, noting that unity and mutual respect are vital for couples to grow together over time. She also offered words of encouragement to widows in attendance, urging them to stay hopeful and open to new beginnings.

A major highlight of the celebration was the storytelling session, where couples shared how they met and the experiences that have shaped their journeys together. Many cited mutual respect as a key pillar in sustaining a thriving relationship.

One young couple particularly moved the audience with their touching testimony, earning admiration and applause. Their story inspired many young attendees aspiring to build enduring and meaningful unions.

The atmosphere was further enlivened with music, couple-centered games, dancing, and gift presentations to both couples and widows.

Extending the spirit of love beyond the event venue, the group, alongside participants, embarked on a charity visit to Kubwa Divine Children’s Home in Kubwa, Abuja.

During the outreach, food items and cash donations were presented to support the children and commemorate the Valentine celebration.

Through the initiative, Otos David Media Group reaffirmed its commitment to promoting strong family values, nurturing relationships, and championing compassion-driven community impact.
