Governor Buni condoles with Zamfara Govt over Legislator’s death

Yobe state Governor and Chairman APC Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee Hon. Mai Mala Buni has condoled with the family and government  of Zamfara state over the death of Hon. Muhammad Ahmad, who was killed by gunmen on Tuesday.

In a statement Signed by the director general, press and Media Affairs to the Yobe State Governor, Mamman Mohammed, said the governor sympathies with the deceased family and the entire people of Zamfara state.

He said “I wish to express the heartfelt sympathy of the government and people of Yobe state and the entire APC family over the unfortunate death of Hon. Muhammad Ahmad”.

He described the killing of the state legislator and abduction of his son and driver as unfortunate, cruel and wicked.

“I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate incident which occurred yesterday involving the death of  Muhammad Ahmad, representating Shinkafi Constituency and the abduction of his family members.

“I pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant the soul of late Muhammad eternal peace in Aljannatur Firdaus.

“I also pray to Allah to grant his family, Zamfara state government and the people of Zamfara state the fortitude to bear this great loss” Governor Buni prayed.
