Yobe youth groups endorse Lawan Kolo Geidam for 2027 Governorship Youth organizations across Yobe State have thrown their weight behind Lawan Kolo Geidam as their preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election. The endorsement was announced on Thursday in Damaturu by the Democratic Enlightenment for Good Governance (DEGG), a youth-driven organization with structures across the state. Speaking on behalf of the coalition, DEGG Coordinator Adamu Hussaini Yunusa said the decision followed wide-ranging consultations with 178 local coordinators drawn from all of Yobe’s local government areas.
