Pezeshkian: Iran has always chosen engagement, not war

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has reaffirmed that Iran’s longstanding approach to regional and international issues is rooted in engagement and dialogue rather than confrontation.

The president made the remarks during a telephone conversation on Friday with President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where he expressed appreciation for the support shown by Islamic countries toward Iran.

Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of sustained and coordinated efforts by regional states to de-escalate tensions and contribute to the consolidation of peace and stability across the region.
