Tinubu hosts former defence minister TY Danjuma for closed-door security talks at Aso Rock
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday received former Minister of Defence, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa for a closed-door meeting believed to focus on national security and governance issues.
Danjuma, a retired general and respected elder statesman, arrived at the State House earlier in the day. While the agenda of the meeting was not officially disclosed, sources indicated that discussions may have centred on the country’s security challenges and strategies for national stability.
The visit is seen as part of President Tinubu’s broader engagement with former leaders and key stakeholders aimed at strengthening collaboration on critical national matters.
