The grieving family of Alhaji Muhammad Yusuf is demanding justice following the brutal killing of activist Yusuf Muhammad and his four-month-pregnant sister, Fa’iza Muhammad, who were murdered by bandits at their family home in Abbayo Quarters, Pingida, Akko local government area of Gombe State.

The sad incident occurred when bandits invaded the deceased’s home at the residence of Alhaji Muhammad Yusuf (Malam Pindiga) along Kashere Road in Gombe State around 12:52 am on 28/December/2025.

“She was the younger sister of the murdered activist, and they didn’t take anything from the house during the attack. Such an attack has never happened; it was the first time and also new to us.

“The deceased’s mother, Hajiya Aishatu Muhammad, fainted and was rushed to Pindiga Cottage Hospital for medical care, but she was discharged yesterday around 11am,” he revealed.

The family source described Yusuf Muhammad as an activist renowned for speaking out against banditry, injustice in the town, and poor governance.
